Easter Calendar Freebie

Now that March break is almost over, I'm counting down to the next holiday.

EASTER

And there is nothing better than a Freebie!

Since I'm getting ready for April now, I pulled out my Easter calendar numbers.

These numbers can be used for a variety of activities
  • Use them for your calendar
  • Print out two copies and play a memory game
  • Have the children put them in order from 1 to 31

You can snag these for free by clicking on the picture below.

Easter Fun and a Freebie

With Easter just around the corner, we are doing some Easter work stations.  This is a little freebie for you.  Children put the right number of cookies in the jars.  This activity works on numbers 11 to 20

This fun Easter basket counting activity works on numbers 1 to 20.  Children put the right number of eggs in each basket.  There are two sizes of eggs, big ones for little hands (and numbers) and small ones for the bigger numbers.

Some children are still working on visual discrimination.  This game works on sorting the eggs into the correct basket.  Some have patterns and some are plain.

Easter Dollar Store Finds For Fine Motor Skills

So I was at the Dollar Store the other day and saw the cutest Easter games that I thought would be perfect for working on fine motor skills.

This one is very simple.  You put the bunnies in the holes and there is one hole empty.  You have to jump a bunny and then remove the bunny that was jumped.  The object of the game is to leave only one bunny on the triangle.  It is pretty challenging so if you have younger children it's great fine motor practice to just take the bunnies in and out of the holes.

This game is perfect for children who like tic-tac-toe but have a hard time printing the X's and O's.  Children use the plastic pieces to play the game instead.  Again, if your children are too young, just have them put the X's and O's in the little spaces and then take them out again.

Now this game was quite challenging and would be perfect for children who are working on refining their fine motor skills.  First we had to build a bunny tower.

Then, we had to roll a coloured dice and remove the same coloured bunny with the little hook.  Oh, and you can't let the tower fall.

Pizza Interactive Book Update

I can't believe that my March Break is 1/2 over already.  I'm so sad that the time is just flying by.  While I've been off, I've been trying to update a few of my older products. This pizza interactive book set was one of my original products back into 2011.  I've updated it with new graphics and fonts, added one book and added the mini take-home books to go with it.  If you have already bought this from me you can download the new version for free.  If you haven't grabbed this one yet, it will be 1/2 price until the weekend.

St. Patrick's Day No Prep

St. Patrick's day is just around the corner and we spent some time practicing our math skills.

We did some counting.

And we did some simple graphing.

Many of my students have fine motor difficulties so I find cut and paste activities work better when their printing is not great.

We also did some missing numbers.

And some patterns.

St. Patrick's Day Math and Freebies

I always love St. Patrick's Day but every year it falls on our March Break.  This year I'm planning to have a little celebration when we return.  We are going to wear green, eat some green food and play a few fun games.

I updated my St. Patrick's Day math centers.  Since St. Patrick's Day is next week, I'm putting them on sale for 1/2 price until the end of the week.

You can grab them by clicking on the picture below.  Remember, if you have already bought them, you can download the update for free.

Scroll down to the bottom for a freebie from the pack.

Here is a little sample from this pack.  I hope you can use it.
